This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application bearing No. 2025/0153/25/005749 dated 11.12.2025 and the petitioner's representations dated 22.12.2025 and 26.12.2025 and consequently, to sub-divide the subject land comprised in Survey No. 4651/2A and issue patta in favour of the petitioner.
2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the third respondent/Tahsildar will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within the time frame stipulated by this 2/6
Court.
4. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.12.2025 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry, including issuing notice to the joint pattadhars, owners of adjoining lands and considering any objections from them. The respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity at such inquiry to the petitioner and any others who would be affected by such decision. There shall be no order as to costs.
