ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the 2nd respondent herein to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.423 of 2016 dated 28.05.2016 on the file of the Thideer Nagar police station, Madurai city, Madurai District within at stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that investigation has already been completed and final report has been filed on 28.04.2023 before the Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai as 'further action dropped'. He would further submit that the petitioner refused to receive the RCS notice.

3. The second respondent is directed to serve RCS notice to the petitioner, so that he can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above said direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
