[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY, J.] The petitioner has filed the above writ petition as a public interest litigation to call for the records relating to the impugned order, dated 23.01.2020, passed by the fourth respondent, to quash the same as illegal and consequently, to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 20.01.2020 and also to direct the respondents to pay the full crop insurance (Maize) 2018-2019 to him and other village agriculturists.
2. When the petitioner is the person aggrieved over the proceedings of the fourth respondent, dated 23.01.2020, he cannot file a writ petition as a public interest litigation. Admittedly, the petitioner is also aggrieved over the proceedings of the fourth respondent, dated 23.01.2020.
3. In these circumstances, we are not inclined to entertain the writ petition as a public interest litigation. Hence, the writ petition is closed.
No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
