O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to take steps to survey, measure and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's lands in Survey Nos.535/1, 535/2, 535/3, 536/1 and 536/2, on the basis of the challan payment made by the petitioner on 11.09.2025, within a stipulated time.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been submitted for the survey of the properties in question and for demarcation of its boundaries. Page No. 2 of 5

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first to third respondents would submit that only after conducting enquiry, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first and second respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 11.09.2025, conduct enquiry, survey and demarcate the petitioner's lands after consideration of the claims of all parties including the private respondents and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners, the private respondents and other interested parties, if any.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
