This petition has been filed praying to direct the 2nd respondent to take necessary action and give necessary police protection to the petitioner and her son Periyasamy's life and liberty based on her representation dated 24.10.2014.

2. Petitioner informing of continuous threat at the hand of persons against whom two cases have been registered, one for having set upon him and other for having damaged to the property and prays for police protection. It is submitted that the petitioner has sent a representation dated 24.10.2014 to the respondents in this regard.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) representing the respondents submitted that there is a counter case against the petitioner.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.10.2014, solely on merits and in accordance with law.
