Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 26/21 dated 18.02.2021 denying permission to the petitioner to conduct awareness campaign through van at Madurai, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to grant permission with reasonable restrictions as may be imposed by this Hon'ble Court to ensure protection of constitutional mandate guaranteed under Arts 14,19,21,25 and 26 of the constitution of India and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This writ appeal stands posted today, as directed by this Court on the last occasion directing the appellants to consider giving effect to the order of the learned Single Judge by taking note of the law and order situation and the conditions to be imposed. Accordingly, a proceedings has been issued by the first appellant / Commissioner of Police, Madurai City, in C.No.15-3/Camp/COP/MC, dated 03.03.2021.
2. We have perused the said proceedings and we are satisfied with the safeguards mentioned thereunder. After all, law and order and public peace are in the realm of the appellants and the role of this Court in exercise of its power of judicial review of rather limited.
3. At this juncture, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the time fixed from 09.00 am to 12.00 noon can be extended by one hour. We find the aforesaid request merits consideration. Accordingly, we direct the appellants to extend the aforesaid time limit by one hour.
