PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.01.2018 and direct the respondents to pay and settle the claims of the petitioner as stated in the representation and pay a sum of Rs.2,34,009/- with reasonable rate of interest as this Court may be fixed.

2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner is a retired employee of the third respondent / Transport Corporation. He retired on 30.11.2014. The petitioner's retirement benefits have been substantially settled. His grievance is that he is entitled to be paid some more benefits in terms of G.O.(Ms).No.61, Transport Department, dated 30.04.2016. In this regard, he has given a representation dated 25.01.2018 to the respondents herein. The respondents 3 and 4 are directed to consider the writ petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2018 in the light of the aforesaid G.O.(MS).No.61, Transport Department dated 30.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
