2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.Heard Mr.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.The petitioner was employed in the third respondent/Mill, as a casual labour. The said Mill has since been closed, but the dues payable to the petitioner was not paid. The third respondent is presently in liquidation. Therefore, the petitioner's claim petition had to be withdrawn with liberty to file an appeal before the second respondent. The petitioner submitted an appeal dated 18.11.2016. The second respondent has not disposed of the same till date. Therefore, this Writ Petition has been filed. 5.The second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 18.11.2016, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Writ Petition is allowed accordingly.
