ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petition mentioned vehicle was seized in the month of November 2022. The petitioner had also appeared before the first respondent on 23.12.2022 and appears to have given a statement.

3. I do not want to go into the issue if the first respondent followed the statutory procedure before the final order was passed.

4. Be that as it may, since the final order of confiscation had already been passed, this writ petition is not maintainable. The petitioner has to necessarily obtain his relief before the Sessions Court. If the petitioner files an appeal within a period of two weeks from today, the same will be entertained without reference to limitation. The petitioner's appeal will be numbered immediately and the learned Sessions Judge will endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.
