ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to sanction education loan for a sum of Rs.3,31,600/- to the petitioner based on her application dated 12.10.2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has obtained 480 marks out of 500 marks in SSLC and obtained 981 marks out of 1200 in Higher Secondary education. He further submitted that she applied for B.Tech (Bio Technology) in Kalasalingam University, Anand Nagar, Krishnankovil, Virudhunagar District and she was allotted a seat in the said course for the year 2015-2019. He also submitted that since the petitioner could not pay the huge fees, she has approached the respondent for getting education loan. Though her application was submitted along with all the required documents, it is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the respondent has neither sanctioned nor rejected the application of the petitioner.
4.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that the respondent will favorably consider the petitioner's application and sanction the education loan to the petitioner.

5.In view of the submission of the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent that the petitioner is eligible and the education loan would be sanctioned to the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following directions: "The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's loan application and sanction education loan, if the petitioner is found eligible as per bank norms, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
