O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2016 and remove the name of the petitioner from the History Sheet List maintained by the third respondent police.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the third respondent has registered three cases against the petitioner herein and in all the three cases the petitioner was acquitted and as an date no case is pending against him. However, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the third respondent is maintaining the petitioner's name in the History Sheet List and hence, the petitioner gave a representation dated 20.11.2016 to remove his name from the History Sheet List. But sofar, no order has been passed.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that though the cases filed against the petitioner were ended in acquittal, the petitioner is under the surveillance of the police and hence, the representation submitted by the petitioner is still under consideration.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass order on merit in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
