Respondent Prayer :- Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a direction directing the Principal District Judge, Thanjavur to dispose the G.O.P.No.179/2015 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Hon`ble Court. ORDER:- This Revision Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon perusing the earlier order of this court and the requisition letter submitted by The Judge, Family Court, Thanjavur vide his letter in D.No.261/2021 Dt.11.05.2021, requesting extension of time for further three months to dispose of the case in G.O.P.No.61/2019 pending on its file and this Court made the following order:

The Civil Revision Petition is listed today, under the caption 'for extension of time'.

2.It is evident from the records that this Court in CRP(MD) No.391 of 2020, has directed the Family Court, Thanjavur to dispose of the petition in F.C.G.O.P.No.61 of 2019 on or before 30.04.2020, vide order dated 16.03.2020.

3.It is further evident that at request of the learned Judge, Family Court, Thanjavur, four months time was granted from the date of receipt of copy of that order dated 20.08.2020 and that thereafter, three months time was granted again vide order dated 22.01.2021. The learned Judge has submitted another requistion, dated 11.05.2021 stating that due to Covid pandemic situation and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRP(MD). No.391 of 2020 the consequent lockdown, the case could not be disposed of and seeks further three months time for dispose of the petition. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the reasons assigned by the learned Judge, Family Court, Thanjavur, this Court is inclined to grant the time as sought for and accordingly three months time is granted to dispose of the petition in F.C.G.O.P.No.61 of 2019 from the date of regular functioning of the Courts.
