ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct a survey and fix the four boundary stones in respect of the petitioner's properties.

2. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. The petitioner has made an application for survey on 12.12.2023 and again on 05.04.2024, both of which have not been disposed of. In view of the above, the petitioner seeks the limited relief of issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to pass 2/5

orders on the petitioner's online application dated 12.12.2023 and 05.04.2024.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's applications would be duly acted upon and sufficient time may be granted.

6. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to conduct a survey and fix the four boundaries of the petitioner's property based on the online applications dated 12.12.2023 and 05.04.2024 within a period of eight weeks from today. No costs.
