ORDER

The petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent on 19.04.2017, against the order passed by the Tahsildar/second respondent herein, rejecting the petitioner's application for grant of patta. But, so far, no order has been passed in the appeal. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. 2.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal dated 19.04.2017 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as rival claimants, if any. 3.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
