ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representations dated 03.02.2026 and 04.02.2026 and to call for the records relating to Crime No.26 of 2026 dated 20.01.2026 on the file of Kanyakumari Police Station, and consequently to order a fair, impartial and independent re-investigation by a competent officer.

2. According to the petitioner, he was assaulted by the third respondent. It is further submitted that the third respondent is an influential person and, therefore, the petitioner apprehends that the enquiry may not be conducted in a fair and proper manner.

3. In view of the said submission, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct the investigation properly and proceed further 2/4

strictly in accordance with law.
