ORDER

The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the appeal pending with the first respondent, challenging the order of the second respondent.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks only a limited direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal petition of the writ petitioner.

5. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for, without going into the merits of the petitioner's entitlement and the petitioner's appeal grounds, a direction is issued to the first respondent to pass orders 2/4

in the pending appeal dated 20.09.2024 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
