Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 341 and 506(i) of Indian Penal Code in Crime No.Not Known of 2015, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This petition was filed showing the crime number as not known and, therefore, on 24.02.2015, this Court granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner for a period of two weeks, directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent police for investigation.

3. Today, the respondent police is present and status report has been filed. In the status report, it is stated that the petitioner complied with the order passed by this Court and appeared before the police for interrogation. In paragraph Nos.4 and 5 of the status report, it is stated as follows:

"4. It is humbly submitted that based on the above said facts the respondent police dropped the further enquiry of the petition and closed the petition enquiry.

5. It is humbly submitted that now there is no petition enquiry and no First Information Report pending against the petitioner herein."

4. In view of the facts stated above, the petition is closed.

5. This Court places on record its appreciation to Mr.S.Kumaran, Inspector of Police, Perunazhi Police Station, Ramanathapuram District, for the fair manner, in which, investigation has been conducted and status report filed before this Court.
