Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner is imparting education in M.Ed course. It was granted recognition by NCTE originally. Later, recognition was withdrawn. As a consequence, the respondent University also revoked affiliation. Subsequently, NCTE revisited the issue and restored the recognition. Thereafter, the petitioner had to approach the respondent University for continuation of the affiliation. This process took some time. Since the interest of the children were involved, the petitioner filed W.P.(MD)No.3733 of 2022. Even though the petitioner's annual intake of students was 50, in the writ petition, the number of students was erroneously mentioned as 25. Interim order permitting the students to write the examination was also granted. But it mentioned the figure only as 25. Of-course, the figure was amended as 50 after examinations were concluded. This should not pose any difficulty because the University had also issued hall ticket for 50 students.

3. Since NCTE had already restored the petitioner's recognition and the students have also written the examination, there cannot be any difficulty for declaration of their results. The respondent is directed to publish the results of the examination of 50 students of the writ petitioner institution in which they appeared in February 2022. A direction is issued to the respondent University to grant approval to the 50 students admitted in the petitioner College for M.Ed course for the academic year 2021-2022. Since Syndicate is expected to restore the affiliation, the petitioner College can commence the next semester with effect from 15.07.2022. The respondent University is directed to issue hall tickets for the students of the writ petitioner Institution so as to enable them to write the examinations which is scheduled to be commenced from 15.07.2022.

4. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
