ORDER

The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of writ of mandamus to dispose of the representation, dated 28.01.2025 seeking patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of Survey No. 141/6 measuring an extent of 3651 Sq.Fts and Survey No. 141/7 measuring an extent of 1614 Sq.Fts in Thiruvalanjuli Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District.

2.Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of counsels on either side, this writ petition taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner claims for patta in his name on the strength of registered sale deed, dated 15.02.1990 under which, the subject 2/4

property was purchased by the petitioner. The petitioner's application has been pending from 28.01.2025 and in and by the writ petition, the petitioner seeks consideration of the said representation. 4.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application, dated 28.01.2025 for issuance of patta on merits of the application of the petitioner and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
