ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- This petition was filed by showing the crime number as "Not known" and, therefore, on 24.02.2015, this Court granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner for a period of two weeks with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police every day at 05.30 p.m.

2. It is stated by the petitioner that he appeared before the respondent police on 02.03.2015 and on that day, he was detained by the respondent police and was abused by them. Therefore, the petitioner has filed M.P.(MD)No.1 of 2015 for modification of the order passed by this Court on 24.02.2015 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3303 of 2015.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the respondent police is present and Mr.M.Robinson, Inspector of Police, Thattarmadam Police Station, Thoothukudi District, has filed a status report, in which, he has stated that he conducted enquiry with the defacto complainant even without the presence of the petitioner and dropped further action in this case. Therefore, the allegation of the petitioner that he was threatened by the Inspector of Police cannot be true and it is only excuse to get over his failure to appear before the respondent police.

4. In view of the above stated position, this petition seeking anticipatory bail stands closed.

5.
