..Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the first respondent dated 17.07.2017 in his Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.1946/A3/2017 and consequently direct him to reinstate the petitioner in the service with all attendant benefits.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is an Anganwadi employee. She got implicated in a criminal case. She was arrested in Crime No.155 of 2017, dated 08.07.2017, on the file of the Town West Police Station, Dindugul. Therefore, she was suspended from service. The order of Suspension cannot be faulted. However the question is whether the suspension is to be continued or not. It is seen that the petitioner's arrest does not have anything to do with the discharge of official duties. Keeping the petitioner under suspension will not serve any purpose. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Therefore, the first respondent is directed to revoke the petitioner's suspension and reinstate her in service forthwith. 4.The Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
