This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to forbear the respondents from acquiring the petitioner's agricultural land in punjai Survey No. 163/4B1 a total extent of 2 Acres 21 Cents and Survey No. 371/1B1 a total extent of 50 at Silarpatti Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District without following any due process of law and the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. .

3. The petitioner is the absolute owner of the aforementioned property. Patta also stands in his name. However, without following due process of law, the third respondent is attempting to lay a road in the said properties. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the official respondents, submits that no road is laid as of now. 2/4

5. In view of the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that if there are any such proposals for laying the road, it will be subject to acquisition in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
