The matter is disposed of at the SR stage itself without going into the merits of the petition filed by the petitioner herein.

2. One Venkataarenga Ramanujam Chettiyar filed R.C.O.P.No.137 of 2006 on the file of the Rent Controller, Trichirappalli for evicting one Rengarajan. Both the parties are no more. One Renganayagi daughter-in-law of the original petitioner is pursuing RCOP. RCOP has been transferred to the District Munsif Court and has been re-numbered as R.C.O.P.No.9 of 2021 and in the place of Rengarajan, his son Velusamy had come on record.

3. The only relief sought before me is for speedy disposal of the said R.C.O.P. No exception can be taken to the said request. The learned District Munsif Court, Srirangam is directed to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.9 of 2021 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of five months from the next hearing date. I have not gone into the merits of the matter. C.M.P.(MD)No. 4405 of 2024 is closed. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly at the SR stage. No costs.
