Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents herein to look into the grievance of the petitioner expressed in the representation dated 26.12.2017 and thereby accord permission to conduct the "Adal Padal Program" and to provide police protection on 14.01.2018 to the Village Temple, "Sri Muniyandi Swamy Kovil Thiruvizha", at Katrampattii Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District.

This petition has been filed to direct the the respondents herein to look into the grievance of the petitioner expressed in the representation dated 26.12.2017 and thereby accord permission to conduct the "Adal Padal Program" and to provide police protection on 14.01.2018 to the Village Temple, "Sri Muniyandi Swamy Kovil Thiruvizha", at Katrampattii Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the programs such as 'Adal Padal Programme', likewise, on 14.01.2018, also they decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that, they have already given a representation to the respondent and no order has been passed till now. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader has not raised any serious objection.

4.The respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 26.12.2017 and dispose of the same on or before 10.01.2018.

5.with the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
