Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to direct the first respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner while doing agricultural work in respect of the land in Survey NO.37/3 and 37/4 to an extent of 5 acres and 19 cents situated at Aranmanaipudhur, Koduvilarpatti Village, Theni District and to the life and limb of the petitioner on consideration of the above circumstances and on the basis of the representation dated 20.02.2015. O R D E R

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the first respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner while doing agricultural work in respect of the land in Survey NO.37/3 and 37/4 to an extent of 5 acres and 19 cents situated at Aranmanaipudhur, Koduvilarpatti Village, Theni District, and to the life and limb of the petitioner on consideration of the above circumstances and on the basis of the representation dated 20.02.2015. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. side) appearing for the respondents. 3.The petitioner, who is old lady, is being harassed by private parties. The suit for possession filed by the private party was rejected.

The above said fact would clearly demonstrate that the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property in question. Two complaints have been lodged on the attempt made by the private party and consequential threat. One case has been registered and subsequently charge sheet has been filed before the jurisdictional Court. In view of the continued attempt made by the private person, subsequent case has also been registered and the same is pending investigation. Not stopping with that the petitioner is continuously threatened and it is danger to her life.

4. Considering the above said submissions made, a direction is issued to the second respondent to grant adequate police protection to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner as and when required.
