ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to the second respondent to issue necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, dated 05.02.2023 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner a case in Crime No.702 of 2022, came to be registered against 8 persons, among which, the third respondent is not a party.

3. A reading of the complaint shows that the complainant and the petitioner are neighbors, over the usage of property, the civil suit is also pending.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent and the same will be considered within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 2/4

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on its own merits by summoning the third respondent and complete the process of the enquiry within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
