Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action for jointly conducting 'Kodai Festival' by the petitioner and his villagers along with the fifth and sixth respondents' group in the petitioner's Village Temple namely "Vana Petchiamman Temple, Kaliamman Temple and Periyandavar Swamy Temple, situating in Moovirunthali Village, Manur Taluk, Tirunelveli District" on 01.03.2022 to 03.03.2022 or any other suitable date in a peaceful manner, based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2022. ORDER

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous as seen from the prayer of the Writ Petition.

2. The petitioner has given a representation on 03.01.2022 seeking for conducting the Kodai festival in the subject temple scheduled to take place from 01.03.2022 to 03.03.2022. Since the said period is already over, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

3. If the petitioner has any other grievance against the management of the temple, he can do so by giving a fresh representation to the competent authorities in the manner known to him under law. There shall be no order as to costs.
