2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the order dated 11.02.2026, in paragraph No.1, it has been wrongly mentioned as 'the petitioner seeks for quashment of the FIR', instead of the 'The petitioner seeks for a direction to file final report'.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 1st line in paragraph No.1 of the order dated 11.02.2026, is replaced as follows:

"The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent herein to investigate the case in Crime No.189 of 2025 and to file a final report before the concerned Court".

4. Registry is directed to carry out the correction and issue fresh order copy to the parties concerned.

Respondent PRAYER : Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 to direct the Respondent herein to investigate the case in Cr.No.189 of 2025 and to file a final report before the concern court within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for quash of the FIR in Crime No.189 of 2025 on the file of the respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the investigation has been completed and a final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ramanathapuram, through online in E-Filing No.LTN20220002306 on 25.01.2026. However, it has not been taken on file.

3. In view of the above, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ramanathapuram, is also directed to take the case on file forthwith. This Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, by filing a petition seeking further investigation under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C., / 193 (9) BNSS, 2023, if not satisfied by the manner in which final report is filed.
