Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 196 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the fourth and fifth respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2018 to give adequate Police Protection to operate the petitioner's Mini Stage Carriages bearing registration Nos.TN 47-Y 7009 and TN 47-X 1072 plying on the route Musiri Bus Stand to Kulithalai Bus Stand.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2018 and to provide police protection for operation the petitioner's mini buses bearing registration Nos. TN 47-Y 7009 and TN 47-X 1072 plying on the route Musiri Bus Stand to Kulithalai Bus Stand. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has got permits for the aforesaid buses for plying from Musiri Bus Stand to Kulithalai Bus Stand and the Transport Commissioner also has passed an order dated 29.11.2000, permitting the mini buses to go inside the bus stand and that being so, the sixth respondent now has issued pamphlets stating that they will seize the mini buses, if they enter into the Kulithalai Bus stand.

3.Considering the aforesaid submissions, on 02.03.2018 this court has passed an order to issue notice to the sixth respondent returnable by 19.03.2018 and private notice was also permitted. Till then, the respondents 4 and 5 were directed to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's mini buses bearing registration Nos.TN 47-Y 7009 and TN 47-X 1072, while the said buses were entering into the Kulithalai Bus Stand. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that notice was already served to the sixth respondent on 13.03.2018 and proof of service has also been filed today (19.03.2018) in the Registry. Today no representation for the sixth respondent.

5.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) has submitted that on 06.03.2018, a peace committee meeting was convened by the Tashildar, Kulithalai, in which, the sixth respondent has participated and the office bearers of the sixth respondent association have also participated and they have agreed that they will not have any demonstration and also they won't prevent the petitioner's mini buses from entering into the Kulithalai Bus Stand. He has also produced a copy of the decision taken in the said peace committee meeting.

6.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
