(in all the petitions) For Petitioner : Mr.M.Jegadeesh Pandian COMMON ORDER These Criminal Revisions are directed against the impugned condition No.(i) made in Crl.M.P.Nos.1665, 1664, 1596, 1595, 1594 and 1592 of 2024 in C.A.Nos.238, 237, 223, 222, 221 and 219 of 2024 dated 28.01.2025 and 19.12.2024 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Karur, wherein, the petitioner was directed to deposit 25% of the compensation amount to the credit in S.T.C.Nos.204 of 2020, 203 of 2020, 46 of 2019, 50 of 2019 and 49 of 2019 and C.C.No.737 of 2/6

2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court @ Magisterial Level, Karur on or before 21.01.2025 and 27.02.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed eight revisions including the present six revisions challenging the similar condition imposed in eight criminal appeals and the total amount comes Rs.80 lakhs. He would further submit that the condition imposed to deposit 25% of the compensation amount may be modified.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the cases and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner is directed to deposit 25% of the compensation amount in eight cases, this Court is inclined to modify the impugned condition No.(i) to the effect that the petitioner is directed to deposit 20% of the compensation amount before the concerned Court, on or before 19.03.2025. In respect of other conditions, the order of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Karur, shall remain unaltered.

4. With the above direction, these Criminal Revision Cases are disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
