PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records pertaining C.C.No.228 of 2008 pending on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam and quash the same. ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining C.C.No.228 of 2008 pending on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam and quash the same.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial has been commenced in C.C.No.228 of 2008 and the matter has been posted for Judgment on 14.09.2018. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

3.Recording the said submission, since the prayer in this petition has become infructuous, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
