..RESPONDENTS Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to direct the 3rd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on the complaint dated 19/02/2015. ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.KARUNANIDHI, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.ANBARASAN, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the respondents, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to quash the C.C.No.380 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil in Cr.No.65 of 2013 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner brings to notice that the party who is accused of a complaint is a money lender, who charges exorbitant interest and that responsible for effecting repayment. Unjust demand being made of the petitioner and threats are also being issued. He submits that the offending parties are accused in Crime No.7 of 2011 for offence under Section 306 I.P.C on the file of the Kenikarai Police Station and such cases are arising out of similar wrongful conduct. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that under the agreement entered into between both the parties and in the presence of their respective counsel, the petitioner's wife has undertaken to effect payment of Rs.7,00,000/- within three months and the opposite party has also undertaken to return all the documents in his possession thereupon. 5.Post the matter after three months. It will be open to the learned counsel for the petitioner to seek an earlier posting of the matter if occasion demands.
