This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to grant adequate police protection to her husband and herself and family members. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 3.The petitioner is said to have entered into love marriage with one Stalin. The petitioner sought for police protection since the marriage was not approved by the parents of both sides. In the complaint it is stated that there is continuous threat to the life and her husband's life. As no steps have been taken, the present petition has been filed.
4.Th learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that petition enquiry is pending.
5.Considering the facts of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In the meanwhile, the respondent will have to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband.
