This petition has been filed to direct the Family court, Dindigul, to dispose of the petition in H.M.O.P.No.291 of 2022, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that Chief in affidavit of the petitioner was filed on 28.01.2023 and cross examination was also over. PW2 has also been examined on the side of the petitioner in chief on 01.06.2023 and even though, he regularly appear, no cross examination was made by the respondent. But, repeated application was filed by the respondent to drag on the proceedings. Section 24 application was filed by the respondent and the same was allowed, she filed another application in I.A.No. 12 of 2024 to strike off the petition, on the ground of non payment of interim maintenance amount. Now it is stated to be pending.

3.Now the grievance is that even though counter was filed in this matter, the respondent is not interested in disposing the above said application. But dragging on the matter endlessly. 4.Let the above said interlocutory application be disposed by the trial Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, if cause of action survives, the main petition shall be taken up and dispose of within a period of five months, 2/4

thereafter.

4.With the above said directions, this civil revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
