ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner regarding the property to an extent of 0.53.50 hectares in Survey No.274/1B1 at Kommadikottai Village, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2018. 2.According to the petitioner, he has purchased the property in Survey No.274/1B1 at Kommadikottai Village, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, measuring to an extent of 0.53.50 hectares, by means of a registered sale deed dated 02.02.1984 from one S.S.Lokori Nadar, since then, he is in possession and enjoyment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the same. Subsequently, he has made an application to the third respondent on 27.01.2018, seeking issuance of patta in his favour in respect of the above said property. But, no action has been taken in the application. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. 3.Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending with the third respondent, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.01.2018 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as rival claimants, if any.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
