ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to grant permission to use explosive materials for deepening the well in Survey No.942/2, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2018. 2.According to the petitioner, he is an agriculturist, having a land in Survey No.942/2, situated at Muhavanur, South Village, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District. In the above agricultural land, there is a well and due to drought condition, its water level has gone down. Hence, the petitioner wants to deepen the well. it is a rock area, the petitioner has to use explosive materials for deepening the well. In the above circumstances, he has made an application to the first respondent/District Collector, Trichy District on 08.02.2018, seeking permission to use explosive materials. But, the said application has not been considered so far. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above facts and circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 08.02.2018 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
