Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order of dismissal from service of the petitioner from the job of the Sub Staff at Tirunelveli District Central Co-operative Bank, Tirunelveli Junction made by the respondent in the proceedings in Na.Ka.85/2016E1 dated 31.03.2017 and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the respondent to reinstate the petitioner as Sub Staff of Tirunelveli District Central Co-operative Bank, Tirunelveli Junction with all monitory benefits.

ORDER

Mr.D.Shanmugaraja Sethupathi, learned counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The petitioner was employed as Sub Staff in the respondent/Co-operative Bank. He was visited with the punishment of dismissal from service. Questioning the same, the Writ Petition has been filed.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.This Court is of the view that an effective alternative remedy of revision under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-

operative Societies Act, 1983 is available. Therefore, this Writ Petition would not be maintainable. Therefore, on this ground alone this Writ Petition is dismissed.

5.The petitioner is given liberty to file a revision before the Revisional Authority within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner files such Revision Petition within the stipulated period, the Revisional Authority is directed to dispose of the same within a period of three months thereafter.

6.With this direction, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
