Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.
2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 1.11.2019 and dispose as per law.
4. The case of the petitioner is that, the petitioner is a widow and she was residing with her daughter Kalaiselvi, who assured to take care of her till the petitioner's death. The petitioner, believing the words of her daughter, has given the ancestral https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.3970 of 2020 property through settlement on 09.07.2013 in favour of the said Kalaiselvi, fifth respondent herein. Later, the petitioner began to experience torture and cruelty at the hands of her daughter and son in law and she was rescued by her son and at present she is residing with her son. The petitioner had made several representations dated 01.11.2019 to the third respondent to cancel the gift deed executed in favour of the fifth respondent. Till date, the third respondent has not considered the representation of the petitioner and therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing the present writ petition.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.11.2019 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
