PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant petitioner's pension

& other benefits with interest by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2017.

ORDER

Heard Mr.N.Kannaiya, party-in-person and Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 and Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the seventh respondent.

2.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner is a retired Village Administrative Officer. His pension is yet to be paid on account of the defects pointed out in the communication dated 02.11.2016 of the seventh respondent. It is seen that certain entries have to be made in the petitioner's Service Register. It is now pointed out that the second respondent has to make those entries.

4.The second respondent is directed to make the relevant entries in the Service Register Book and thereafter he shall submit the proposal to the seventh respondent. This exercise shall be completed within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.It is undertaken by the learned counsel for the seventh respondent that within a period of one month from the date of resubmission of the entire payable, necessary orders will be passed. 6.The Writ Petition stands allowed accordingly.
