ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- While disposing of Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3677 of 2020, this Court has given a direction to the trial Court to conclude the case in C.C.No.106 of 2018 on or before 17.04.2020. Thereafter, vide letter dated 31.08.2020, the learned District Judge, II Additional Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Madurai, seeking extension of four months time and this Court has granted four months time by an order dated 04.11.2020.
2. Now the learned District Judge, II Additional Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Madurai, has addressed a letter dated 31.03.2021, stating that the material witnesses were examined and the case is posted for examination of Investigating Officer on 25.01.2021. Thereafter, the case was adjourned on several occasions for the non appearance of the investigating officer and it was represented that the investigating officer has been deployed in bandhapast duty in sensitive election area and his examination may be posted after election. He is holding full additional charge of I Additional Special Court for NDPS Act cases and II Additional Special Court for NDPS Act cases, Madurai. He seeks further two months time for disposal of the case.
