ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.219 of 2014 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai.

2. According to the petitioner the second respondent herein lodged complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai and the same was forwarded to the first respondent police and a case in Crime No.22 of 2010 was registered for the offences under Sections 498(A),406 and 506(ii) of IPC as against this petitioner and others and thereafter the first respondent filed final report and the same was taken on file in C.C. No.219 of 2014 by the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai . As per prosecution case A1demanded dowry for a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- and also threatened that will set fire by pouring kerosene.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner represented that already the matter has been settled between the parties and to that effect the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent also made an endorsement in this petition that he has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.219 of 2014 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) also admitted that the matter has been settled between the parties and the dispute is with regard to matrimonial dispute.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing on either side that the matter has been settled between the parties and also considering that even according to the complaint the allegations are not specific and vague, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.219 of 2014 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai is herby quashed.
