ORDER
With the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2024 for removal of wrong entry in the petitioner's patta. The petitioner has made an application for rectification of the patta on 01.11.2024 and thereafter, he has sent a reminders on 26.12.2024 and 09.01.2025 as no action has been taken on the above representations, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 2/5

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the third respondent is the competent authority to pass orders on the petitioner's application for rectification of the patta by removing the wrong entries and he seeks six weeks time for disposal of the petitioner's application in this regard. 5.Considering the above, the writ petition is allowed directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's request for rectification dated 01.11.2024 and pass the orders on their own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
