This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the impugned proceedings in C.C.No.2623 of 2019 on the file of Additional Mahila Court, Trichy, for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.

2.When the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) points out that there are totally seven witnesses in this case and that six of them have already been examined. The investigating officer is to be examined today ie., 05.03.2020. Crl.O.P(MD)No.4168 of 2020 of entertaining a quash petition does not arise. Leaving open the petitioner's defences, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
