Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to direct the District and Sessions Judge cum PCR Court, Dindigul to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioner on the same day in Cr. No.78 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police. Order : This petition coming on for hearing on this day upon perusing the petition on the file of the High Court and M/S.D.VENKATESH, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.A.P.BALASUBRAMANI, the Government Advocate(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent this Court made the following order:- By order dated 27.06.2016, this Court directed the petitioner/accused to surrender before the Court concerned within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the order. 2.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there was an amendment to be carried out in the petition as well as in the order dated 27.06.2016 and therefore, the petitioner could not surrender in time before the Court below and hence, he has come up with this petition seeking extension of time. 3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

4.Considering the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner/accused, the time limit granted in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.10244 of 2016 is extended by 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
