This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the first information report in Cr.No.371 of 2011 pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the investigation in this case has been completed and a final report has also been filed through E.Filing.

3.Recording the above submission, this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. 2/4

Mere filing of final report through E-filing is not enough. It is the duty of the first respondent Police to ensure that the final report is taken on file.
