This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the Kabadi event on 09.03.2018 at 08.08 p.m to 11.03.2018 at 02.00 p.m at Anna Nagar, Anbil Post, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District as per the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2018 and the petitioner sent a representation through registered post on 03.03.2018. 2.Heard Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.Though the petition has been filed by the petitioner to conduct Kabadi for three days from 09.03.2018 to 11.03.2018. During the course of arguments the learned counsel for the petitioner has made an endorsement that he has now restricted the relief for two days namely 09.03.2018 and 10.03.2018.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is one of the Villagers of the said Village. The

villagers are conducting the "Kabadi Tournament" for the past several years and this year, they have decided to conduct the "Kabadi Tournament" on 09.03.2018 and 10.03.2018 and for that, they have already given a representation dated 03.03.2018 to the respondent, but so far, no order has been passed. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that there is a law and order problem and hence, the petitioner's representation is kept pending. 6.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 03.03.2018 and dispose of the same at early. At the time of passing order, the respondent has to keep in mind the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and Ors, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233. 7.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
