2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner is working as a Secondary Grade Teacher in the Panchayat Union School in Sivagangai District. Seeking refixation of salary and basic pay on the basis of his last pay drawn in the earlier school, the petitioner has given appeal petition dated 23.02.2018. The first respondent has to pass orders thereon. 4.This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The first respondent is directed to pass orders on the appeal petition dated 23.02.2018 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
