ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA., J) Raja/father of the detenu viz., R.Nathiya, aged about 16 years, has come to this Court for issuance of writ of habeas corpus, directing the respondents to produce his daughter before this Court and hand over her custody to him.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue has been secured by the respondent Police. Accordingly, she was produced before us.

3.Since she was only 16 years old, we had a formal conversation with her separately. Realising the mistake committed, she has agreed to go willingly with her parents, who are also present. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD)No.160 of 2020 4.Thereafter, we had also a brief discussion with her parents. They also stated that they would take care of their daughter. 5.At this stage, Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that the case has been registered against the 3rd respondent under the provisions of the POCSO Act and they are looking forward to nab him.

6.Recording the above submissions, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
