ORDER

This writ petition has been filed directing the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner for conducting Pooja for the temple of Arulmigu Ponnar Sangar Ambu Podum Kovil situated in Aaniyapur & Village, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2020.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the representation of the petitioner has been received on 18.02.2020. She would submit that there seems to be a rivalry between the petitioner and the fourth and fifth respondents with regard to the conducting of pooja in Arulmigu Ponnar Sangar Ambu Podum Kovil situated in Aaniyapur & Village, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District and that necessary enquiry would be conducted after summoning the rival parties and appropriate action would be taken, in accordance with law.

3.Recording the same, this writ petition stands closed. The respondent police is directed to issue summons to the petitioner as well as the rival parties for enquiry on 29.02.2020.
