ORDER
The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct preliminary enquiry on the compliant of the petitioner, dated 02.01.2025 and take further action.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner was considered and thereafter, FIR has been registered in Crime No.58 of 2025 for the offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998. 2/4
3. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to consider the representation and the said representation was considered by the second respondent and the FIR has been registered, recording the above said submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, this writ petition stands dismissed.
